This mini session happened way back in November (I think it was November, that seems ages ago) .  It was a mini session that I shot in Worcester, I also had a maternity session booked that same day right before it.  It made the treck out to Worcester worth it!  We have posted some sneak peeks from our mini sessions in the Fall, but never a full blog post.  I was recently updating our portrait portfolio site and was looking through all of our previous sessions.  I decided that I had to do a full blog post of this one, I just love these photos (and love the family that these photos are of!).

We want to capture you & your families memories and we understand not everyone has the budget to do a full portrait session.  We’ve decided to offer the option of booking a mini session WHENEVER you want!  We typically schedule a full day of mini sessions at a designated location a few times a year. We want to capture you & your families memories and we understand not everyone has the budget to do a full portrait session.  We’ve decided to offer the option of booking a mini session WHENEVER you want!  We typically schedule a full day of mini sessions at a designated location a few times a year.  We’ve had several inquires asking when we were going to do our spring mini sessions, but due to our schedules we have had a hard time finding day where we could schedule a full day of them.

Contact us to book your mini session now!  Weekends in April & May are mostly booked, but weekdays are definitely available.  Mini sessions are 30 minutes long and are shot on location at any location you want within the Greater Lowell Area.  Sessions booked outside of the Greater Lowell Area will incur a small travel fee.  If you aren’t sure where to have your session just ask us, we have lots of ideas for locations.

Sessions are $75, this covers the 30 minute session.  Prints and Products can be purchased a la carte after the session.  Contact us for more information on the products we offer & too book your session today!

I had the pleasure of spending some time with this little nugget a few weeks ago.  I was worried he wouldn’t be sleepy enough because the session was schedule when he was a little older.  Newborn sessions are best when they occur during the first 14 days.  This is when they are sleepiest and you can really mold and move them to get all the cute shots.  Mr. N did a fantastic job and slept the entire session.  Mom did a great job prepping him for the session and kept him awake so he was super sleepy and fed him right before so we started the session.  He hardly made a peep each time I moved him or switched things up.  I would love for all my newborn sessions to go this well!

I figured since Miss Olivia has finally made her debut and was born just a few days ago it was perfect time to post Ashley and Bobby’s maternity session from this past November.  Ashley and Bobby live far away in North Carolina (Ashley is originally from Massachusetts) Ashley knew she wanted us to shoot a maternity session for them and made it happen by scheduling it when they were in the area for their baby shower.  I had a great time hanging out with them and shooting at Elm park in Worcester.  I wish they lived closer so we could capture a newborn session of their adorable little lady.  Maybe next time they come up for a visit we can squeeze something in! hint hint ;)

I had the honor of capturing the tiny little Matilda several months ago. I headed down to her parent’s home and was able to capture her newborn images both inside her room as well as outside (yep, it was that warm for her session! Oh how I miss the warm weather already). Kaylee | First Birthday & Cake Smash Session

Our niece Kaylee just turned 1 last week.  A couple weeks before her first birthday I headed up to shoot Kaylee’s first birthday and cake smash session.  We were able to hang out in the back yard and shoot these.  Prue and my Dad came up with me and they can both attest to the fact that Kaylee didn’t stop moving for a second.  She was all over the yard, crawling and climbing on everything.  Even with all the craziness I was able to capture some great images of her.  It just kept me on my toes.  After we did some regular portraits we busted out the little birthday cake & Kaylee went right after it.  She had a great time playing and eating it (Prue also enjoyed a little cake after Kaylee was finished).

Happy First Birthday KAYLEE!  We love you :)

Introducing Silas :) Congrats to Jen & Jason on the birth of their little nugget.  I got to hang out with baby Silas a couple of weeks ago.  This little guy did an awesome job sleeping & it was warm enough when we did he session that we were able to shoot these outside in their yard.  Luckily Jason was able to make it home from work before we were finished and we were able to capture a few photos of the new family.  I love shooting newborns because it gives me a chance to snuggle on tiny little babies.  Luckily the moms don’t usually mind :)

This one with him trying to suck on his fingers…my fave! This one would make a great large print or standout hung in their home.  Who wouldn’t love to see this photo everyday?  I love how Jen & Jason are looking at Silas, you can see the joy on their faces!

While I write this post, I have Cole holding onto my leg trying to grab at the laptop.  We have Cole sleeping over with us tonight so I figured it was a good time to post his most recent session.  Cole is the son of our dear friends Danielle & Jared as well as our godson.  Some of you know that Danielle is currently fighting cancer, she has stage 4 non-hodgkins lymphoma.  Fingers crossed that she will be officially in remission soon.  She just had a stem cell transplant and is recovering in the hospital.  Hopefully her white blood counts will keep improving so she can come home!
Right before she went into the hospital for her transplant I went up for a visit and I captured some photos of Cole in their backyard.  Enjoy :)

He didn’t know what to think of the grass, it was one of his first time exploring grass.  Then mom pulled out the bubbles and he really didn’t know what to think.  It kept him still though!

One last one with Cole & Danielle.  Danielle, you are an amazing woman, mom & friend!  I can’t wait to celebrate with you when this ordeal is all over and you are in remission.  Enjoy the photos of your little nugget.
