MINI SESSIONS | June 1, 2013 | Fort Hill Park Lowell, MA

The weather is warming up and everything is blooming.  Take advantage of the warm weather and lets capture you, your family or kids.  We only schedule a day of mini sessions a couple times a year.  Our next scheduled day of mini sessions will be happening on June 1, 2013 at Fort Hill Park in Lowell MA.

Mini sessions are a perfect time to capture your kiddos being cute, get an updated photo for the grandparents or just to document a new stage in your child’s life.  They are also perfect for Senior Portraits and Maternity Sessions.

All sessions are booked first come, first serve. Please email us to select the time for your mini session from what is available.  We will send you a contract within 24 hours and take your $150 deposit to reserve your spot. Deposits are non-refundable, unless you or we are able to rebook your spot.

Frequently Asked Questions.

What is a mini session?

A mini session is a shortened version of our regular portrait session, without all the bells and whistles. Basically it allows us to get a few great family shots of your entire clan and then spend a little time getting breakout shots of just the kids, a few individual shots and perhaps a few candids. It is ideal for families who simply want some updated family shots for their holiday cards, Facebook, or frames. It is not ideal for those seekinglots of great candids or the in-between-the-moment shots or those who want outfit changes or a wide range of background looks.  With mini sessions, there simply is not enough time to capture a great deal of emotional images inside of 30 minutes – you really need a full hour plus for that. Mini sessions move quickly so it’s imperative you arrive a few minutes early (5-10) so that you and your family are ready to go.

What is the max number of people we can have for a Mini Session?

You can have up to 5 people max. {Sorry, no pets during the mini sessions, but they are welcome during regular sessions.} If you have 6 or more people, we would love to book you for our regular portrait sessions, which are 1 hour+.

Do we get all of the images on a disc from our session included?

This mini session includes 5 digital images that will be delivered via online download.  Additional prints and products will be available for purchase through your online gallery.

Will you provide props for our shoot, or can we bring them?

For mini sessions we wont be able to provide any props (chairs, lollipops, balloons, etc.) however you are more then welcome to bring any of these items if you want to incorporate them.  The location for the session includes benches, rocks, walkways and grassy areas making it perfect for sessions.

How much money can I save?

You can save up to 50% off our regular session pricing.  Because we save time by having a single location and have multiple clients booked the same day we are able to pass these savings on to you

I have more questions. How should I reach you?

Email us at and we are happy to answer any questions you have.

Mr M’s Newborn Session

I love newborn sessions, yes they are a lot of work, but they are totally worth it!  Introducing this little nugget to the world!  Meet M, born on Valentine’s Day (notice the adorable hearts details through out the shoot)

Mom and Dad had a maternity session with us before Marcos was born (you can view it here) Mom contacted me after Marcos was born to schedule his newborn session.  He was a trooper and did great during the entire session.  Enjoy some of our favorite images from his session.  I can’t wait to watch this little guy grow up and photograph him again.  He is so sweet.

Newborn sessions are ideally shot during the first 2 weeks, though it’s never too late to have portraits of your little nugget done.  Marcos’ session was shot when he was almost 2 months.  Contact me today to schedule a session to capture your little one during their first few months.  They change so quickly it hard to remember how tiny they were.

Mini Portrait Session | Grady & Peach | Worcester MA

This mini session happened way back in November (I think it was November, that seems ages ago) .  It was a mini session that I shot in Worcester, I also had a maternity session booked that same day right before it.  It made the treck out to Worcester worth it!  We have posted some sneak peeks from our mini sessions in the Fall, but never a full blog post.  I was recently updating our portrait portfolio site and was looking through all of our previous sessions.  I decided that I had to do a full blog post of this one, I just love these photos (and love the family that these photos are of!).

Contact us today to book a portrait session for your kids or your family.  The weather is starting to be really lovely and all the spring trees in bloom make for a beautiful backdrop for photos.  You can read more info about our mini sessions in our recent blog post.  You can also view more of our portraits on our portrait  portfolio site.
