Mini Sessions available whenever!

We want to capture you & your families memories and we understand not everyone has the budget to do a full portrait session.  We’ve decided to offer the option of booking a mini session WHENEVER you want!  We typically schedule a full day of mini sessions at a designated location a few times a year.  We’ve had several inquires asking when we were going to do our spring mini sessions, but due to our schedules we have had a hard time finding day where we could schedule a full day of them.

Contact us to book your mini session now!  Weekends in April & May are mostly booked, but weekdays are definitely available.  Mini sessions are 30 minutes long and are shot on location at any location you want within the Greater Lowell Area.  Sessions booked outside of the Greater Lowell Area will incur a small travel fee.  If you aren’t sure where to have your session just ask us, we have lots of ideas for locations.

Sessions are $75, this covers the 30 minute session.  Prints and Products can be purchased a la carte after the session.  Contact us for more information on the products we offer & too book your session today!

I figured since Miss Olivia has finally made her debut and was born just a few days ago it was perfect time to post Ashley and Bobby’s maternity session from this past November.  Ashley and Bobby live far away in North Carolina (Ashley is originally from Massachusetts) Ashley knew she wanted us to shoot a maternity session for them and made it happen by scheduling it when they were in the area for their baby shower.  I had a great time hanging out with them and shooting at Elm park in Worcester.  I wish they lived closer so we could capture a newborn session of their adorable little lady.  Maybe next time they come up for a visit we can squeeze something in! hint hint ;)

Enjoy this wonderful time Ashley & Bobby.  The first year goes by so quickly!! You’ll be planning her first birthday party before you know it.

Erin & Matt | Maternity Session Winnekenni Castle & Downtown Haverhill MA

We met with Erin & Matt last Sunday morning.  It was a chilly day, but we all did a good job bundling up.  Erin & Matt were troopers and did a great job dealing with the cold, they never complained.  When Erin contacted us for the session she was totally game for doing an outdoor session.  I was super excited that she wanted to do it as most people are not down for an outdoor session in New England in January.  Then Erin mentioned her idea to get the giant balloons and I was even more excited.  I knew it was going to be a fun session.

This is the castle that is at the top of the hill at the Winnekenni Park Conservation, I can’t wait to come back here in the Spring or Summer for another session.  I love having our couples & families choose locations because we are always learning about new places to shoot.  Erin did a great job coming up with locations for their session.

The town of Haverhill has these hay bales out for the kids who go sledding on the two hills near the entrance to the park.  We were lucky and it was early enough so there weren’t any kids sledding down this hill.  We didn’t have to worry about watching out for the kids coming down the hill. 

We ventured to Downtown Haverhill for a few more shots, it gave us all a chance to warm up in the car a bit.  We were going to visit Sweet Things Bakery, but they were closed for the day for a private party.  We had about 15 minutes to kill and then The Tap was opening at noon, so we found a little alley that we could shoot in.  The Tap was super kind and let us use their room for a few indoor shots.

Thanks for being so great Erin & Matt!  We had a great time shooting and can’t wait to meet your little nugget & for your newborn session in April!

Here is a behind the scene shot of Drew holding the diffuser so the sun wasn’t so harsh.  Luckily the wind didn’t gush, I was worried Drew would crash into them.

Danielle, Jared & Baby Y | Groeland, MA Maternity Session

Two of our dearest friends are pregnant & are going to be having a baby hopefully any day now! eeeeekk!!! I am so excited for them.  We luckily squeezed in a maternity session a few weeks ago.  I am so happy for both Danielle & Jared and I can’t wait to watch them turn into the amazing parents that I know they are going to be!  We shot these near their house.  Danielle scouted locations for us, I knew I wanted to shoot on the bridge that I cross over to get to their house.  She found the awesome riverfront location & then some were right in their yard (that great stone wall is in their backyard).  The light was amazing & they were up for anything, even when Andrew & I asked them to do silly things, they totally did them & we love them for that.

I can’t wait to meet this little nugget.  It’s a surprise if it’s a boy or girl, though Jared knows.  I don’t know how he is keeping it a secret.  I hate to admit it,but I had no faith that he could keep the secret from Danielle or anyone else.  He has proved us all wrong and done an amazing job not letting it slip (you know we’ve all tried to get it out of him)

The top image of this set is my favorite for many reasons.  1.  I love the lens flare.  2. If you know Danielle you know that she isn’t the smiling type, so the fact that she has a genuine smile makes me happy.
